Overnight shifts and decimal hours
If your end time is earlier than your start time, the calculator treats it as an overnight shift and adds 24 hours — so 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM correctly reads as 8 hours. Totals are shown both as decimal hours (7.5) and hours and minutes (7h 30m), because payroll systems usually want decimals while timesheets are often written in minutes. Remember 7h 30m is 7.5 hours, not 7.30.
